IMA Miner 2.0 Is Live

It’s been about four years since IMA Miner’s last real update. We figured it was time to fix that — properly. Version 2.0 is the biggest update the game has ever had, and the first major release of the Pixel Peasants era. It’s live now on Steam.

Here’s what’s new:

New

• An end-game boss — there’s finally something waiting at the very bottom.
• A day/night cycle and weather — the world shifts around you as you dig.
• Free unlockable skins — earn new looks by completing achievements.
• Full controller support and a native Linux build.
• Steam Cloud saves — pick up right where you left off.

Improved

• Chunk-based terrain generation for noticeably faster load times.
• Overhauled visuals, audio, and lighting across the underground.

Fixed

• A long list of bug fixes and optimizations across the board.
